In 1920 the Hall was rebuilt under the watchful eye of Sir Peter Fitzosbert replacing the original medieval Hall. Over the centuries this country house has been restyled and extended into the magnificent Hall as it stands today. The Estate and all its enterprises have been owned by the Crossley family since it was acquired by Sir Francis Crossley in 1863.
