Clay shooting days are available on the Estate and use some of the Estate?s main pheasant and partridge drives.

Fonthill Farms are managed by Velcourt Ltd under a contract farming agreement. Collectively they consist of 9000 acres of calcareous silty loam with a top soil depth of 20-40cm's over chalk with a stone content of up to 60%.

The Forestry on the Fonthill Estate consists of 988 hectares with 718 hectares on Great Ridge and 270 hectares of Home Woods.

The 80 acres of prime grazing, in a picturesque setting in Wiltshire, makes Fonthill Stud an impressive establishment. In recent years the stud has bred Group and Listed winners in England and Europe with particular success in Italy.

World renowned pheasant and partridge shooting is available at the Fonthill Estate.

Penning House is a secluded woodland lodge, reached through a forestry track leading through unspoilt woods available as a holiday let.
