Good turnout at Winton House for their demo day

Yesterday over 50 land owners and agents met up at Winton House for a demo day discussing converting redundant farm buildings in to viable commercial ventures.

The delegates heard some really interesting presentations from East Lothian Council , Simpson & Brown, Chalmers & Co and by Rural Estates. Hopefully they all left with a few more ideas than they had when they came in!!

We’ve been amazed at the number of enquiries that we have received over the past few days. The great news is that there is such a variety, residential property in five different area, commercial property (notoriously difficult to shift at the moment), holiday cottages, exclusive hire of a country house, many wedding venue enquiries and someone trying to find out the history of a property for a book that they are writing…..all good news for the owners of these places!
