The Bygones Museum proudly expresses domestic and agricultural memorabilia, offering visitors a chance to explore history and to an extent the history how domestic and agricultural lifestyles have changed.
The history of the Estate and its surrounding areas can be seen on show locally at the St. Sophia and Crawfordjohn Museums. An interesting experience for all those interested in finding out more about the remarkable Estate and those that have made it what it is today.
The museum welcomes visitors and provides a sizeable amount of information on the history of Hirsel Estate and life through the ages of those living and working at Hirsel over the last 400 years.
