Knowsley Safari Park is full of exotic animals from giraffes to baboons. Unlike most safari parks, at Knowsley you are positively encouraged to walk around gaining the best sight of the animals, as well as exploring the many other attractions on offer.
Visitors to Layer Marney Tower may enjoy the designated Wildlife Trail around the estate and visit the farm animals, including Pygmy goats, rare breed sheep and chickens, along with the Highland Cattle and Red Deer.
Fish farming at Kilnsey has been an integral part of Kilnsey Park for hundreds of years, dating back to 1200's when the Fountain Abbey monks started breeding carp. Today the fresh spring waters at Kilnsey Trout Farm make it a renouned and successful fishery.
The Walled Garden which is surrounded by parkland is the perfect location for the falconry displays held on the Holywell Estate, displaying a range of spectacular birds and their impressive speed of flight.
